Your color model balance seems to be emulated well, for example between the greens and the orange. I like how you tried to use similar graphics as your layout model to place in those areas mainly because it definitely adds a sense of consistency. The curves could be more prevalent since your visual league model seems a bit softer where are your infographic has sharp lines and corners. Just make sure the type is proportional to your graphics (emulation here would come from the visual language model). This is mainly to help identify and separate the different sections.
I changed the lines in the bottom right section more curved instead of angular in order to match better with my visual model.

Compare to the first display, I prefer your second version. However, I am kind of lost for two circles overlap part which is relationship. Maybe you want to mention what relationship the graph represents when you fill out those text. There are too many white spaces around section two(relationship section).
I changed the color of the two circles in order to follow the color model better, since the use of bright orange and green is major. I also added lines to indicate which block of text is for which section, so that the display could be clearer. I added a texture in background so that blank spaces are occupied.

Your emulation looks very neat and straightforward. You have a good balance of using colors from your color model, but I noticed that your color model has some texture on the white background, you can try to add that on yours. Comparing with your layout model, I can see how you are designing the whole page very asymmetrically, yet yours seems less active and dynamic,my suggestion is that you could try to fill in your blank space with some pictures and icons. Overall I probably like version one little more because it has a good balance of words and pictures on both left and right sides of the infographics.
I added similar texture to the background as in my color model. I added a simplified swing graphic at the left bottom to take the blank space. I chose the second version to go forward because I think the first one is a little bit crowded. But I will rearrange the layout of text so that it will look more balanced.

The display emulates the color and visual model well, however, the color model you chose might not work well with your visual and layout model, since in the color model, text is minimized, while in your visual and layout model, there are many blocks of text. Also, you may want to change the lines separating those sections into a different color, since in the visual model, the lines are in a light color.
I changed the lines separating sections into a lighter color in order to follow the visual language model better. I did not change my visual or color model although they does not work well with each other, since I do not have enough time to do so.

Emulation feedback:The swing in the infographic is a little wierd and you can change the swing icon more vertical so it stands. Moreover, the pattern in the background is too solid and you can change the transparent for that. Maybe you can consider to change the background to some elements related to your topic rather than lines. The person image in the timeline part have white background and you should remove that.
I changed the swing icon to more vertical so that it stands. I changed the person in the timeline part to have a transparent background. I removed the background texture because I do not have any better idea yet.

The background is not relevant to your topic, and instead of having texture as your color model, maybe try to follow more with your visual model. You can think of adding background texture relevant to a playground. You could also add some pictures to fill in the white space. The gray lines can be changed into a more transparent color in order to follow your visual model. Remove the strokes in the map would help to follow the visual model better since it doesn't have many details.
I removed the strokes in map and I changed those lines in dark gray into the light gray in my color model. I did not have any better ideas for the background currently, so I removed the texture for now. I also added more graphics to fill in the blank space so that the display will not look so boring without background texture.

This emulation shows:
The final layout of the infographic.

How this element exploits the visual potential of appearance:
(1) Elements were highly organized and separated into parts by thin straight lines.
(2) Each section is well defined.
(3) The visual hierarchy is to read the infographic from top to the bottom, left to the right.

How this element emulates the models:
(1) To emulate my color model, all elements, including the titles and the text, are using colors from my color model. Exceptionalism's the logo of school and skin color in the screenshot, because these will not look good in colors from color model.
(2) To emulate my visual language model, I made all elements flat, simple and without rotating. Used all fill in colors with no strokes.
(3) To emulate my typography model, I used the similar font and text size in the model on the labels in this display. I also used similar row length for the body texts as my typography model.
